A successful year for plastic injection moulders CJ Tool & Mouldings
We’ve had an incredible 2018 here at CJ Tool and Mouldings and before heading into 2019 we thought we’d recap on the achievements and developments of 2018.
As a plastic injection moulding company we are continuously trying to do our part when it comes to helping the environment. In 2018 we invested further into anti-static technology as part of our continuous improvement strategy helping to develop our waste reduction and efficiency performance.
As well as this we have invested in LED lights across our whole factory reducing power and energy consumption. It was important for CJ Tool and Mouldings to install these LED lights as they are 80% more efficient than traditional lighting and only 5% of energy is wasted in heat.
All of which had a very positive impact on our Climate Change Levy agreement documented results.
As part of our strategic growth plans we acquired Driotwich Plastics, who have been in the plastic injection moulding business for 25 years, specialising in both vertical and horizontal moulding as well as providing tooling services. This has allowed CJ Tool and Mouldings the ability to provide micro-mouldings to their current and also potential customers. The integration has been successfully completed with all clients complimenting the transition process.
We’ve also successfully converted from ISO 9001 to ISO 2015 with our external auditor BSI, demonstrating that CJ Tool and Mouldings consistently produce quality products and services that meet customer and applicable statutory as well as regulatory requirements.
Throughout the year our number of clients increased across many current sectors but also new sectors including Aerospace and Medical. We also maintained 100% retention of all of our existing clients.
We’re extremely proud of our developments and achievements in 2018 and look forward to a successful year in 2019!
