This issue is being tackled through more and more companies investing in young people to study the plastics manufacturing industry through an amended UK curriculum to offer potential training and early skills.
A major concern of the plastics manufacturing industry is the effect that it has on the environment; however, The British Plastics Federation is continuing to put pressure to ban the landfill of all recyclable and waste that is recoverable. The Plastics Industry Recycling Action Plan is currently being developed to help decide the most effective and eco-friendly method of handling plastic waste.
There is an ever-growing attention on sustainability in the modern day, as it has become common for businesses to choose a plastics manufacturing process that benefits the environment and helps minimise their waste. Plastic injection moulding is an extremely resourceful way of producing plastic products, with any excess plastic being recyclable.
